Muerde la Pasta, the restaurant chain from Tastia group, has redefined the Italian dining experience with its innovative all-you-can-eat buffet concept. Offering high quality pasta, pizza, salads, and desserts, it has become a favourite with groups keen to indulge in Italian cuisine without limits.
During the pandemic, self-service, the heart of its experience, was restricted. A brand synonymous with family and friendship, community and togetherness, was suddenly forced to confront a reality in which people gathering as one was no longer permitted.
As normality returned, it was time to bring back the authentic Muerde la Pasta experience that customers had been longing for. And the social connection that many craved.

At Singularity, we understood the challenge: restoring confidence in self-service without losing the essence of the brand. We identified a clear social need – to embrace life’s simple pleasures again, with a relaxed and positive attitude. And what better way to do it than with humour?
We created a series of audiovisual pieces that not only promoted the return of the buffet, but also reshaped public perception. With a warm and playful approach, we launched a fun holiday campaign with a clear message:
‘You missed the way things used to be, and we missed you.’
Welcoming, heartfelt, authentic storytelling that resonated with customers and transformed the return of self-service into an unforgettable reunion.
